Fleurieu Psychology Services was established in 2003 and has grown into a broad community practice. We see people at many different stages of life and for many different reasons, and we work to match each person with a psychologist suited to their situation.

If your GP has named a psychologist, go straight to their profile for qualifications, areas of experience and consulting locations.
You do not need to know what is wrong before you make contact. Our reception team can help you find a psychologist whose experience suits your situation.
Four steps from your GP appointment to your first session.
Your GP can prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral, which allows you to claim a Medicare rebate on your sessions.
Ask your GP to send your Referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan through to Fleurieu Psychology Services and our reception staff will call you once received to book an appointment.
If you were not referred to a particular psychologist, our reception team will help identify an appropriate clinician and appointment.

With a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, eligible clients may receive Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year, subject to their referral and Medicare eligibility.
Reduced fees are available to clients holding a current Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Card.
If you get a referral to see a psychologist at Fleurieu Psychology Services and a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP you will be able to access a rebate under the Better Access Mental Health Scheme from Medicare. If you prefer not to go to your doctor you can come as a private client and will not need a referral, however, you will not be eligible to get a rebate from Medicare.
Under the Better Access to Mental Health scheme, clients referred by their GP on a Mental Health Treatment Plan can access up to ten sessions per calendar year, with a maximum of six sessions per referral.
